Ingredients
  

For the Pizza Rolls:

  • 1 lb pizza dough homemade or store-bought
  • 3-4 garlic cloves minced
  • 4 tbsp butter melted
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Marinara sauce for dipping, optional

For Garnish:

  • 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese grated (optional)
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Dough:

  • Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick using a rolling pin.

Add the Filling:

  • Use a pastry brush to spread melted butter evenly over the dough.
  • Sprinkle minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, and Italian seasoning evenly over the surface.

Roll and Slice:

  • Carefully roll the dough tightly from one long edge to the other to form a log shape.
  • Slice the log into 1-2 inch sections using a sharp knife.

Arrange on the Baking Sheet:

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Arrange the rolls with enough space between them for even baking.

Bake:

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the rolls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Add Final Touches:

  • Remove the rolls from the oven and brush them with additional melted butter. Sprinkle with extra Parmesan and parsley if desired.

Serve:

  • Serve the rolls warm with marinara sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

  • Avoid overloading the filling to prevent the rolls from bursting during baking.
  • Experiment with different fillings, such as pepperoni, pesto, or veggies.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days and reheat in an oven for the best texture.
  • These rolls can also be prepared ahead and frozen unbaked. When ready to bake, thaw and follow baking instructions.
