Ingredients
  

For the Sausage Patties:

  • 1 pound ground beef 80/20 for juiciness
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Optional Sides:

  • 4 large eggs scrambled
  • 4 slices of bread toasted
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

Mix the Patties:

  • In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, and red pepper flakes. Mix well until evenly combined.

Form the Patties:

  • Divide the beef mixture into 6 equal portions. Shape each portion into a round, flat patty about 1/2 inch thick.

Cook the Patties:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place the patties in the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until browned and cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F/70°C).

Prepare Sides:

  • While the patties cook, scramble the eggs in a separate pan and toast the bread until golden brown.

Serve:

  • Serve the sausage patties warm with scrambled eggs and toast. Garnish with fresh parsley. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or pork for a different flavor.
